Just checking in!

Hello! I'm still here, still making files. Unfortunately I was having a lot of cutting issues related to my mats, so I had to put an order in for some new ones. I have made my own several times but I think the patterned paper I was trying to cut was too thin and the mat was too thin so it wasn't working. A lot of the new files I'm working on (some fun St. Patty's day stuff!) have script writing so I really need a sticky mat to cut those well! I'll hopefully be back in service this weekend!

Happy (almost) Valentine's Day

Sorry I haven't updated lately...I've been swamped and am trying to catch up on everything!

I'm working on some new files, but they need to be test cut first...I'm working on some birthday pages so look for some birthday titles and paper piecings coming soon!

My adorable nephew turned 3 on Sunday! That inspired me to get to scrapping his 2nd birthday pictures. I love the "Surprise" line by Scenic Route and finally ordered it a week ago. It came on Tuesday, and I like it even more in person! So bright and colorful! Scenic Route is by far one of my absolute favorite scrapbooking companies!
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day--we don't do much to celebrate, but it is a good reminder that we need to be sure to tell those around us how much we do love them!

It's February!

February is here--seems like Christmas was only last week! I'm hopeful that our winter weather will be going away soon. It hit 50 degrees here on Sunday and it was such a nice break from the cold! We still have snow coming down, but were very fortunate to not get hit by the storm they were predicting last week!

It has been a very busy week for me so I don't any new files added to the store yet...but there are a few in the works! I thought I'd give you the "Forget Love" file today as a freebie (you can see a photo in the previous post). It's kind of hard to tell from the picture, but each word is individually "welded" together...that way you can cut each word from whatever color you'd like to. The shadow layer is also included in the file.

Scrapping Away!

I've been spending every spare ounce of time that I've had lately (which isn't much!) scrapping. Most recently I finished up some 8x8 layouts of my bridal shower, and I made a lot of the titles myself. Soon (hopefully this week!) you'll be seeing some of those titles appear here as well as over in my store at Cutters Market. I made them somewhat general so that they could be used for baby or bridal showers and just about any kind of party. I'm not sure whether to do them as a bundle or separately--or both! I also added mats for all of them, even though I didn't use them.

We're getting ready for yet ANOTHER snow storm here in PA, so usually that means more time spent by me designing files. I'm trying to come up with some creative files for Valentine's Day. If anyone has any requests (doesn't have to be V-Day) please let me know. If I use your idea I'll even let you have the file for free :D

Another Freebie...

This is probably the last freebie I'll offer that is completely Christmas themed. There may still be a few that can work on Christmas layouts, but they will be able to work on other things as well. Christmas themes just come easily to me...but I do have some other files in the works, and hopefully I'll get creative with some Valentine's Day ideas soon!

I was oh so fortunate to get sick again this past weekend, so all of my scrapping plans went out the window. I mostly lounged around and watched a lot of tv.

I do have some new files to upload to Cutters Market, but I'm having a hard time getting them to upload. For some reason my internet was timing out on me the other night. Hopefully I'll get them up soon!
